Sentient International is pleased to announce the promotion of Phil Hassall to Compliance Director and his appointment to the board of Sentient International Limited in the Isle of Man.
Commenting on his new appointment, Phil said,
“There have been a lot of positive changes at Sentient recently so it is an exciting time for all of us. I feel privileged to find myself in this new position and I am looking forward to being more involved in the decision making processes that will help shape the future of Sentient, as well as assisting my fellow Board members to grow and develop the business here in the Isle of Man and further afield.”
Phil joined Sentient in 2011 as Compliance Manager, prior to which he held various compliance roles within the banking, insurance and corporate services sectors. With responsibility for overseeing the company’s compliance function, Phil’s role includes working with the new business team in respect of the on-boarding, risk assessment and sign-off of new clients, as well as the development and implementation of internal AML/CFT policies and procedures. Phil will also continue to be MLRO for the business.
