Isle of Man Yacht Registration

The Isle of Man Ship Registry has had a productive 2021, including:

• the appointment of new representatives in China and Germany;
• the development and launch of ‘Crew Matters’ the world’s first welfare app designed specifically for Seafarers;
• becoming the first flag state to broadcast mass to crew at sea;
• joining ocean pollution fighting not-for-profit organisation, Eyesea‘s ocean clean up campaign for which, Director, Cameron Mitchell became an Ambassador;
• being appointed by its first Chinese Ship Owner;
• becoming the first flag to join the ‘Getting to Zero Coalition’;
• taking part in Isle of Man Maritime‘s series of webinars for London International Shipping Week; and
• retaining its position on the US Coast Guard Qualship & E-zero programme for 2021.
