One Day. One Track. One Team. One Cause.

This August, members of #TeamSentient will be taking on the Relay For Life Isle of Man; a 24-hour endurance walk in support of Cancer Research UK (CRUK).

We’ll be walking through the day, the night, and into the next morning… because cancer never sleeps, and neither will we!

Lap after lap, we will honour those we’ve lost, celebrate survivors, and raise funds for life-saving research.

Like so many people, we’ve watched family, friends, and loved ones face the heartbreak and exhaustion of a cancer diagnosis. Some have survived. Some haven’t. But every single one of them matters.

This event is about honouring them – their strength, their stories, their legacy. It’s about hope. It’s about progress. And it’s about doing something, however small, to help fund the research that could save someone else’s someone.

As part of our Sentient International‘s #Making40Matter campaign, we’re marking 40 years in business by giving back in meaningful ways – and this one is close to all of our hearts.

If you’re able to support us by making a donation, we’d be incredibly grateful for anything given – big or small, every pound makes a difference.

And if you can’t donate right now, a share or a few words of encouragement go a long way too.

Thank you in advance for cheering us on – whether from afar, the side-lines, or through your screens.

About Relay For Life

Relay For Life brings communities together to fundraise for Cancer Research UK to beat cancer. Teams of friends, families and colleagues fundraise for research to save and improve lives, then unite as a community at an event to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress that has been made.

The event is focused around a relay where team members take turns completing an activity, whether that be laps of a track, walks through a park or some other challenge to show that step by step, we’re beating cancer. Every Relay For Life includes games and music from local performers, and a Candle of Hope ceremony to give participants a moment to reflect and honour everyone affected by cancer.
