As part of our ongoing plans to strengthen and expand our business, we are pleased to announce the latest key appointment to our senior management team.
Samantha (‘Sam’) Snow has been appointed as Head of Business Development, where she will be responsible for heading the company’s business development strategy and initiatives across a diverse range of niche industry sectors, including Yachting, Aviation and Fintech. She will also lead the company’s multi-jurisdictional VAT proposition using her expertise in VAT and Indirect Tax matters.
Commenting on our latest appointment, Managing Director, Paul Murtagh said: “Sam’s appointment further highlights our commitment to growing and developing our business. Sam is well known within the industry as well as a number of key industry sectors; not only for the knowledge and experience she brings to the table, but for the relationships she builds with clients and intermediaries alike.
Sam will, without doubt, play an integral role in further promoting our business, strengthening our core service propositions and in developing new propositions in other exciting areas.”
Sam has a wealth of knowledge and experience from working for a number of major organisations within Malta and the UK, including two of the Big 4 accountancy firms as well as HM Revenue & Customs.
More recently she worked for an international corporate and trust service provider, undertaking business development for the group and leading and managing their Malta operation. She also acted as Accountable Manager for a successful helicopter services provider operating in Malta and throughout Europe, during which time she further developed her understanding of all things Aviation.
Over the years, Sam has assisted a broad spectrum of clients in a number of complex cases, from advising a global remote gaming operator on Indirect tax issues for an EU wide project following the 2015 VAT Place of Supply changes, to providing VAT advice in respect of the acquisition of a newly built superyacht resulting in a significant VAT saving of over €1 million using the Malta leasing scheme.
Commenting on her appointment, Sam said: “I am very excited to be joining the team. They appear to be a very dynamic and proactive business who are evidently recognised for their expertise in their field and regarded highly by clients for their attention to customer care and service. I am looking forward to helping them grow the business in new and existing industry sectors, as well as building on their existing client portfolio.
