The Isle of Man Aviation Conference is a must attend for all business aviation industry professionals. Now in its 9th year, the event will take place on Thursday 27th June 2019 at the Villa Marina, Douglas.
Head of Marketing, Lesley-Anne Walker, will be representing Sentient International at this year’s event, which is set to attract a large, high profile audience from across the industry worldwide, bringing them together in a friendly, business-focused environment.
This year’s agenda will include how Brexit is effecting business aviation; perspectives from various international jurisdictions on global uncertainty; and the evolution of aircraft operations in the current trading market.
Commenting on the event, Lesley said: “Owning and operating an aircraft is complex and consequently requires significant attention to a number of considerations. With the legislative and regulatory arena surrounding the aviation industry continually evolving, it has never been more important to stay abreast of changes and new developments to ensure that any aircraft being managed is done so effectively whilst remaining compliant.
There are a number of hot topics that have people talking in the industry at the moment, particularly surrounding Brexit and its possible affects on the industry as a whole. This year’s agenda looks to discuss this as well as other prevalent subject matters like the Cape Town Convention, the New vs Pre-Owned market, as well as panel discussions on aircraft operations and new technology in the world of aviation. With a line-up of key speakers from internationally recognised firms within the industry, including: Close Brothers, Textron Aviation, Clyde & Co LLP, PwC and many others; I am very much looking forward to attending this year’s event and to meeting and talking with other industry professionals.”
