Associate Director / Head of New Business & Marketing
As Associate Director, Lesley plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and visibility of the Sentient International brand. She leads the firm’s new business function, acting as the principal point of contact for all new enquiries and guides clients through the entire onboarding journey – from initial conversation to successful handover to the client services teams. Her focus is on creating a seamless and engaging experience for new clients, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident from the outset.
Lesley also oversees the development and implementation of the business’s BD & marketing strategy. Her approach blends strategic thinking with creative execution, ensuring that our brand presence resonates with target audiences across traditional and digital channels.
Lesley also brings particular expertise in the structuring, registration, and ongoing operation of yachts – a niche but vital area of the firm’s offering. Her ability to translate complex structures into clear solutions makes her a trusted first port of call for prospective clients, intermediaries, and industry professionals alike.
With over 17 years’ experience in business development and marketing in the trust and corporate services arena, including a strong focus in recent years on the luxury asset markets such as yachting, aviation, and real estate – Lesley has built a reputation for helping businesses stand out in competitive sectors. She has led multiple successful brand launches and rebrands, developed websites and marketing collateral, and helped position service-led businesses to attract the right kind of attention.
In addition to her role at Sentient, Lesley is a Director of Isle of Man Maritime, and a committed volunteer for Breast Cancer Now in the Isle of Man. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, holding both the Professional Certificate and Professional Diploma in Marketing, and has a Bachelor of Honours degree in Journalism and Management.
