In the latest issue of publication, Business365, we speak about how 2019 is not just the start of a new year but the beginning of a new chapter for us, with a new name and a new look following a full re-brand of our long established business. Find out more below…

What’s in a name? In the case of Sentient International Limited, it is a looking glass into their core principles of honesty, integrity and an innate ability to be aware, responsive and sensitive to the specific needs of their valued clients.

The birth of Sentient follows the full management buy-out of the long established and highly respected Intrust (Manx) business by Managing Director, Paul Murtagh at the beginning of the year.

The re-branding of the business embraces both the company’s remarkable achievements and steady growth since 1985 and its forward thinking, aspirational culture – illustrated recently by the establishment of two additional offices in Malta and Hong Kong.

For Paul Murtagh, the new name better reflects what the company has become as a business: “It is important to emphasise that while we may appear different on the outside, we are still made up of the same great people with the same values, offering the same great service – just with an even greater vision.”

With the new name comes an uncompromising commitment to providing the highest possible levels of customer care and professionalism across the full spectrum of services associated with a modern, corporate and trust service provider.

Bespoke is an often over-used word but in the case of Sentient it truly reflects their ability to tailor services to the very specific requirements of their individual clients.

Sentient’s in-house expertise embraces specialist knowledge across a number of niche industry sectors, including: Aviation, Fintech (Blockchain, Crypto Currency etc), Property, Yachting, and also encompasses a variety of holding structures for assets ranging from Fine Art to Car Collections, to Antiques and even Bloodstock.

The more traditional corporate and trust structures used for effective succession and estate planning are also a key ingredient to their service proposition, and they also boast considerable expertise in the Natural Resources sector including oil, gas, mining and renewable energy.

The Sentient brand celebrates the company’s expanded capabilities and provides a clear pointer to its direction of travel: “It emphasises our ability to be conscious, aware, responsive, reactive and of course, capable of feeling – something we passionately believe to be true – and of significant importance when providing services to our valued clients,” added Paul.

Sentient’s seasoned professionals have developed invaluable working relationships, both locally and internationally, with intermediaries and professional advisors alike, ensuring they are at the forefront of any new developments or changes.

The re-branding of the company has been a complex and thought provoking process for the management team and coincides with recent changes to the internal structure of the business and several key appointments.

Sentient is now a truly boutique CSP/ TSP service provider where the needs of their clients – both ultra high net worth individuals and corporates, are met and their demanding expectations are routinely exceeded.
