Feast of Our Lady of Victories – Public Holiday (Malta)

Our Malta office is closed today for the public holiday that is the Feast of our Lady of Victories.

It marks the day that the barricade against the Turks was lifted in 1565, the day the French surrendered in 1800 and the end of the barricade of the Axis powers in 1943.

To celebrate, there is a remembrance ceremony complimented by a range of festivals across various parishes as well as a regatta in the Grand Harbour.
