Deputy Compliance Officer - Malta
Cristina provides dedicated compliance support to Sentient International’s Malta office, helping to ensure that regulatory obligations are consistently met and internal standards are upheld.
She works closely with the Compliance Officer to maintain robust internal procedures and ensure alignment with Corporate Service Provider (CSP) requirements and industry best practices. Her role includes supporting policy development, assisting with regular assessments and reviews, and contributing to a structured, proactive approach to compliance management.
Her career began in Barcelona as a KYC Specialist at Amazon, where she developed a keen interest in Anti-Money Laundering and regulatory compliance. Cristina later moved to Malta to pursue her career in the financial services sector, where she now supports a range of entities, including CSPs, in her role as an AML and Compliance Analyst.
Cristina also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Cardiff University and is certified by the International Compliance Association (ICA).
