Sentient International Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of David Stevenson to its senior management team, as part of its ongoing plans to strengthen and develop its business.
As Group Business Development, David will be responsible for driving business growth through new business opportunities, as well as the development and promotion of Sentient’s service propositions in both existing and new emerging markets.
Group Managing Director, Paul Murtagh said:
“We are delighted to welcome David to Team Sentient. His appointment demonstrates our continued commitment to growing our business.
“Based in our Isle of Man office, David is key to our future growth plans and will drive the business across multiple jurisdictions, developing our service propositions within a number of niche industry sectors, including Fintech and Property.
“We have no doubt that he will play a key role in expanding our international footprint and global client base by developing our existing client relationships and establishing new ones within new target markets.”
David’s career in the corporate and trust services arena spans over 25 years, during which he has acquired significant knowledge and experience in areas such as business development, tax planning, cross border transactions, corporate structuring, statutory administration and client services.
Prior to joining Sentient, David worked in a variety of roles within the Financial Services industry before establishing his own Corporate Service Provider on the Island in 2008. In 2013 he successfully sold his business to take early retirement but it wasn’t long before he wanted to get back in the game and has since undertaken a number of Senior Management roles for various international corporate and trust service providers.
Commenting on his appointment, David said: “Sentient have developed a good reputation within the corporate and trust arena and in my short time here, it is clear to see that they are a very dynamic and proactive business with a clear vision of where they want to be. The business has continued to go from strength to strength following its management buyout and re-brand earlier this year, so it is a very exciting time for the company. I look forward to assisting them with their ongoing plans to strengthen and expand the business and to building on their existing client portfolio.
