Republic Day – Public Holiday (Malta)

‘Jum ir-Repubblika’, more commonly known as Republic Day in Malta, is an annual public holiday that holds special significance.

It honours the day that Malta negotiated its independence from the British Empire.

Awards and wreath laying ceremonies, military parades and firework displays over the Grand Harbour are among many of the celebrations that will be held today.

Our Malta office will be closed today to observe this public holiday however, our offices in the Isle of Man and Hong Kong will remain open as usual.
