National Day – Public Holiday (Hong Kong)

National Day falls on the 1st of October every year and is celebrated throughout mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

In Hong Kong, National Day is one of three days that have some of the most elaborate firework displays along with Chinese New Year and New Year’s Eve in the Western calendar.
